Update from Ray

To Our Church Family,

Hope this letter finds you well and I really look forward to us talking soon. As you know the restrictions placed on gatherings is not likely to end soon. Our leadership team has decided to respond in a way that we feel is most reflective of being a light in our community. It is our desire to act out of love, and not out of fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7)

Beginning tomorrow evening (Monday, March 23, 2020) at 7:30 PM you are invited to join me in a conference call that will last no more than 15 minutes. I will share an encouraging thought and will also share any prayer requests that have been provided (Please send any prayer requests to mraypalmer@gmail.com). We will conclude the call with a prayer. My hope is it will be encouraging to you to have an opportunity for connection each day of the week.

The call information will be sent out via email.

On Sunday we will be live streaming at 9:30 AM. The link will be published here at monrovia.org. Worship will continue online for the foreseeable future. We will offer an opportunity during the services where all Christ-followers are invited to take Communion.

If there is anything I can do to help you during this time please call me at 256-679-1688 or email me at mraypalmer@gmail.com.
